ABOUT ME

Growing up, guitar was just the coolest looking thing in the world to me. I started playing at 13, but even before that age, the image of myself being a swashbuckling guitar hero really pushed me.
As time went on my love for music deepened and now it means so much more to me than just looking cool. Expressing myself in this way, through the medium of guitar, has carried me through so much of my life, it's helped to steady my hand and orient my focus. This is what I truly want to nurture in all my students, a deeper appreciation for music.
I work to create a space where my students feel safe to express their whole selves, to release and to resolve, to work through the rough bits and celebrate the good bits. And most importantly to know that they can access this space when I'm not there, that this experience, this freedom, this fun, is theirs forever.
